| Description | M3 Basalt is fine grained grey/blue basalt (bluestone). During the formation process, small holes and vesiculations are created within the stone which give the stone its natural unique characteristics. M3 Basalt is widely used internally and externally as cladding and flooring options.
The exfoliated (flamed) surface adds texture to the stone which can create a subtle change in tone and add to the overall design of the paved area. The exfoliated surface also provides a better slip rating for the stone. |
